SO-DIMM systemmodul baseret på Sitara-processor

TechNexion lancer AM3517, der er SO-DIM system-on-module med Sitara AM3517 applikationsprocessor med ARM Cortex-A8 CPU, sammen med Twister interfaceboard (in english).

The new TAM-3517 from TechNexion is a complete multimedia System on Module build around the popular TI Sitara AM3517 application processor with ARM Cortex-A8 CPU and POWERVR SGX 530 for 2D and 3D graphics acceleration.

The 200-pin SO-DIMM connector offers interfaces like CAN, LAN, USB, UART, SPI, I2C, LCD and camera, making the TAM-3517 ideal for applications such as vending machines, home appliances and industrial automation.

Board Support Packages (BSP) is available to create your own applications ranging from Windows CE to Linux and Android. All schematics and board design files, as well as Gerbers of the standard TechNexion baseboards are freely available. TechNexion also offers the possibility of creating a custom tailored baseboard design.

TechNexion has also launced the so-called TWISTER interface board for TAM3517. TWISTER is a complete TAM3517 multimedia development board which is compatible with any display through the available LVDS, TTL, HDMI/DVI, VGA, S-Video interfaces, a 7" display is included in the Twisterpack-XL.

The USB, SATA and micro-SD card slot are available for storage options. Recording and play back of audio and video data can easily be done over the S-video interfaces and audio jacks and speakers. To control remote or external devices this kit can communicate over dual LAN, CAN bus, RS-232, RS-422/485, SPI and I2C.
