Aizo vælger DELTA Microelectronics som testpartner
DELTA i Hørsholm bliver ansvarlig for chip-testservices til det fremgangsrige tyske firma, Aizo AG, der bl.a. står bag den såkaldte digitalSTROM teknologi (in english).
DELTA Microelectronics, the European leader in complete ASIC supply chain solutions, announces today that it will provide complete test services to Aizo AG provider of digitalSTROM technology.
Aizo, based in Germany and Switzerland, develops digitalSTROM-based solutions to enable intelligent electrical device communications and energy cost savings. The Aizo solution is based on a mixed-signal chip, which combines reliable data transmission, power supply, processor and device-specific high voltage electronics. Aizo will work closely with DELTA, using the DELTA test facilities, to plan, develop, run and analyse its complete chip test solution prior to production.
- After evaluating several testing houses both in Europe and Asia, we selected DELTA because of the quality and reputation of its test facilities. Another benefit was the convenience of optimising test time and conducting test development nearby, in the same time zone, says Nuno Pinto, Head of Production and Supply chain at Aizo AG.
DELTA operates the largest commercial microelectronics testing facilities in Europe, with extensive test equipment covering analog, digital, and mixed-signal chip technologies. Using state-of-the-art semiconductor testers, DELTA optimises test throughput and can support the most cost-effective test rates available today.

Founded in 2004, Aizo AG pioneered the digitalSTROM technology to enable the communication of smart electrical devices via existing power grids and enable intelligent buildings and power saving. Aizo's digitalSTROM (dSID) chip, which is at the core of the solution, is commercially available in Germany and Switzerland.
