Digi-Key kunder kan nu handle via Android-telefoner

Digi-Key handels-applikation bliver nu tilgængelig for brugere af Android telefoner. For et par måneder siden blev applikationen præsenteret til iPhone (in english).

Design engineers and purchasers around the globe can now conduct business with Digi-Key Corporation wirelessly with the availability of Digi-Key’s application for Android phone users. Digi-Key's Android application, version 1.0.2, is currently available in English and is available for download from the Android Market for Android 1.6 and higher.

Digi-Key's Android app is the second in a series of Digi-Key mobile applications. It provides easy access to Digi-Key's expansive product offering and resources. Similar to the Digi-Key iPhone application, the Digi-Key Android app also allows customers to create Digi-Key orders and view them in local, Digi-Key supported currencies.

This free application, available in the Android Market, is the passkey to one of the world’s largest inventories of electronic components in stock. Providing instant access to Digi-Key, this new application is designed to help design engineers and purchasers source the electronic components they need any time, anywhere.

One of the most innovative features of Digi-Key's Android application enables the customer to view part datasheets on his or her Android phone. Future updates to the Digi-Key Android app will include the ability to download, e-mail and save high-resolution datasheets for future reference.

Additionally, Digi-Key's Android app provides customers with access to Digi-Key's in-stock inventory of more than 500,000 board level components, as well as Digi-Key's online offering of more than 1.7 million products.

Features of Digi-Key's Android application enable users to search for parts, create Digi-Key orders, access their My Digi-Key accounts, get product specifications, view product photos, learn about new products and new technologies at Digi-Key, and more.

Digi-Key's Android application supports all Digi-Key sanctioned international currencies and the ability to view orders created from web, phone, fax, and mobile devices.
