TI gør det lettere af designe DSP-applikationer

Texas Instruments gør det lettere at designe med TMS320C5000 DSP'er med nye udviklingsboards på størrelse med et kreditkort.

Texas Instruments (TI) has anounced the availability of new credit-card sized, low-cost TMDX5502EZDSP and TMDX5509EZDSP development tools, making TMS320C5000 digital signal processor (DSP) development easy and accessible for developers, hobbyists, researchers and students.

The eZdsp development tools for C5502 and C5509A DSPs do not require any cables, allowing developers to simply plug the tool into the USB port of a laptop or workstation for hassle-free development and a simple out-of-the-box experience.

The eZdsp development tools feature up to 300 MHz of performance for the C5502 and 200 MHz for the C5509A.

Containing a broad mix of interfacing options, these feature-packed eZdsp USB development tools are ideal for applications such as voice, audio, musical instruments and accessories, medical monitoring and fingerprint biometrics. To support rapid and easy development, both tools include a comprehensive suite of support software and sample code examples.

The C5502 eZdsp development tool, which includes a range of integrated peripheral devices along with an XDS100v2 emulator, a complete version of the industry-leading CCS IDE v4 and access to chip support, optimized DSP, Image and Telecom library with source code, is available now at the low cost of USD $89.

The C5509A eZdsp development tool is also available now at the low cost of $99 and includes a USB1.1 slave port and a microSD card slot in addition to the C5502 eZdsp USB development tool features. Special incentives will be announced on TI E2E™ online community for active participants of the C5000 ultra-low-power DSP forum.
