Board-til-board konnektorer med 0,635 mm pitch

Suyin lancerer nye serie af SMT mini board-til-board konnektorer med en pitch på kun 0,635 mm (in english).

Suyin have produced a new series of SMT miniature board-to-board connectors that feature a particularly space-saving pitch of 0.635 mm.

The design of the 635007MA male multi-point connector series and the 635008FA female multi-point connector – which represent an alternative solution in between the pitches of 0.5 mm and 0.8 mm – was based on an existing design that uses a pitch of 0.8 mm.

They are available in a vertical version with 20 to 40 contacts. In the case of 40-position connectors, the tighter pitch of 0.635 mm saves up to 11% more space compared to a pitch of 0.8 mm.


The long-lasting sliding contacts used in this mini board-to-board connector – which is well suited for use in industrial electronics, mobile communications facilities, telecommunications and consumer applications and other areas, such as automotive electronics – ensure convenient and reliable mating.

Other special features include integrated anti-rotation safeguarding through coding on the plastic housing, side positioning posts for exact mounting, and additional features such as soldering tabs (also located on the sides) which make it possible to accommodate high removal forces and permit high mechanical loads.

Depending on customer requirements, the high-quality contacts are available with selective or full gold plating over 30 µm nickel. Operating temperatures can range between –40 °C and +105 °C, and the electric contact carrying capacity is, depending on the specific version, rated between 100 V DC/ 0.5 A and 150 V DC/ 1.5 A.

High-temperature resistant liquid crystal polymer (LCP) thermoplastic is used for the housing, which is suited for all conventional SMT soldering processes. To enable trouble-free automatic placement, these mini board-to-board connectors are fitted with pick & place caps and supplied in tape & reel packaging.
