Solid state disks er optimeret til militære og aerospace applikationer

InnoDisk lancerer ny generation af InnoRobust II SATA SSD'er, der bl.a. inkluderer den innovative iCell teknologi (in english).

InnoDisk Corporation, a leader in flash and DRAM storage products, has announces a new generation of military class rugged SSDs, InnoRobust II SATA SSD, targeting on military/aerospace applications.

InnoRobust II SATA SSD is compliant with MIL-STD-810-F/G standards (a United States Military Standard), which assures rugged DSEign for all environments. It also delivers high data security functions for mission critical, military and defense applications or systems. Besides, InnoRobust II SATA SSD can provide option of conformal coating, which is especially suitable for those who concern with the reliability of SSD´s humidity, insulating compound, and also moisture resistance, for example.


For security equipment, defense and military applications, altitude, thermal shock, vibration for instance, all the above environmental specifications can be extreme strict and vary according to different military equipment.

In order to meet the ultimate requirements, rugged DSEign is important; InnoRobust II SATA SSD is developed based on the rigorous criteria, MIL-STD-810-F/G standards, the United States Military Standard emphasizing tailoring an equipment?s environmental DSEign.

MIL-STD-810-F/G standard addresses a wide range of environmental conditions that include low pressure for altitude testing, exposure to high and low temperatures plus temperature shock, humidity, shock, vibration. To conform to the standards, InnoRobust II SATA SSD has passed a series of test limits to promise a rugged DSEign suitable for most extreme environments.

Technology for data security and reliability

Another benefit is that InnoRobust II SATA SSD can support several data security functions, including QEraser, SEraser, Write Protect and Destroy. Once the system is triggered QEraser and Destroy function, the user data in the SSD will be wiped out till all the data is clear off. SEraser, furthermore, is developed and implemented in accordance with the military security data erase standards, such as NSA Manual 9-12. In addition, Customer can request InnoDisk to provide you customized security date erase functions or standards.

Even better, InnoRobust II SATA SSD not only delivers the environmental reliability, it also provides data security and data protection during abnormal power failure as well. InnoRobust II SATA SSD is applied with iCell Technology, which is InnoDisk´s exclusive technology combing hardware & firmware DSEign to provide enough power for flash during abrupt power failure.

InnoRobust II SATA SSD is equipped with 42 capacitors, which are commanded by iCell technology. When there is an abnormal or unexpected power failure, iCell, with the power from the 42 capacitors, keeps writing into flash from the DRAM buffer. iCell technology guarantees data no loss, which is extremely important for any critical mission or even industrial use.

InnoRobust II SATA SSD supports standard grade (0°C to 70°C) and industrial grade (-40°C to 85°C) operating temperature, with capacity from 16GB to 128GB; Also the density is up to 512GB. The data transferring rate is also greatly improved resulting in outstanding performance. The write rate increases 15% (200MB/sec), while the read rate increases 70% (150MB/sec). This product will be available in the end of Q4.
