RTX klar til at demonstrere DECT ULE
I slutningen af september måned vil RTX på udstilling i Paris demonstre brugen af DECT Ultra Low Energy (ULE), der en LAN teknologi til low power trådløse applikationer (in english)
RTX announces that it will demonstrate the addition of DECT Ultra Low Energy (ULE) to gateway products at the Broadband World Forum in Paris (27-29 September).
RTX will participate in the DECT Forum (Stand H8) at Broadband World Forum's exhibition and showcase the use of DECT ULE, a Local Area Network (LAN) technology that is ideal for innovative wireless low power applications. The technology can provide longevity for battery-powered consumer equipment such as burglar and smoke alarms, door bells and security applications within a 300 meter range.
RTX will be showing concepts that service providers and other vendors can adapt and utilise for the home with specific applications in the growing areas of Home Automation, Home Healthcare, Home Security and Home Energy Awareness.
With its DECT ULE-compliant systems, RTX is building upon an already well-established technology and the potential product set inherits all the advantages of DECT including worldwide interference free spectrum, proven range, simple plug-and-play connections, and all the benefits of an existing eco-system of multiple solution vendors.
For wireless connectivity applications in the home, DECT ULE is an emerging standard and it meets a key trend in the industry, which is the merging of telecommunications with information systems. Telecommunications operators and providers with triple play offerings often also include DECT connectivity enabling DECT ULE for various sensors and actuators.
- We are pleased to be offering DECT ULE based software adding increased flexibility to our wireless systems for home solution providers. The main advantage of adding DECT ULE to home based wireless connectivity is the speed of possible deployment in a highly competitive market. Broadband World Forum is a great opportunity for RTX to show the latest capabilities of our systems, to meet with our existing customers and to learn about the latest opportinities in the booming global broadband markets, says Jesper Mailind, President & CEO at RTX.
In addition, RTX offers production test equipment for DECT, DECT 6.0, Japan DECT and CAT-iq enabling manufacturers of these devices to conduct proper testing.
