Digi-Key Corp. now stocks the Arduino advanced prototyping platform and accessories.
Arduino is a tool for computer development that can sense and control more of the physical world than a standard computer.
The device is an open-source physical computing platform based on a simple microcontroller board and a development environment for writing software for the board.
Arduino features a microcontroller that is programmed using the Arduino programming language (based on wiring) and the Arduino development environment (based on processing). Arduino projects can be stand-alone or they can communicate with software running on a computer (e.g. Flash, Processing, MaxMSP).
