Any minor system failure in electronics can lead to major risks, ranging from costly downtime to life-threatening consequences. As systems grow increasingly complex and interconnected, Functional Safety (FuSa) is no longer optional but mission-critical. From automotive and industrial automation to medical devices, ensuring that electronic systems behave reliably even under fault conditions has become a top priority for engineers and product developers alike.
EKTOS, a leader in electronics development and compliance testing, is launching a new webinar series focused on mastering FuSa across embedded systems and hardware development. The first session, 'Mastering Functional Safety: Why It Matters for Modern Electronics', will take place on June 12, 2025, at 16:00 CEST.
This session will help participants understand:
- What is FuSa (origin, scope, and why it matters)?
- Industry standards and overview across domains.
- Typical challenges & misconceptions in FuSa projects.
- Practical strategies and steps to address compliance challenges.
- When to reach out to experts and how EKTOS can kick in.
The webinar is ideal for project managers, system architects, compliance officers, and hardware/software developers across industries, including automotive, industrial automation, energy, and medical devices.
- This is more than just a technical session. It’s about equipping teams with the knowledge they need to build safer, faster, and more compliant products from the ground up, says Oleksandr Liumbimov, Business Director, Electronics Development, EKTOS.
