Anritsu viser 'industry firsts'

Anritsu demonstrerer flere ny testteknologier i forbindelse med ECOC 2009 udstillingen (in english). 

Anritsu will be show-casing a range of new test solutions providing ‘industry first’
capability for a wide range of test and measurement solutions. These solutions are supporting the use of 10G, 40G and 100G transmission technologies for laboratory, production and field installation/maintenance requirements of the industry.

There are 'industry firsts' for 100G R&D testing for high speed optical devices with the MP1800A, and “industry first' for the MT9083C handheld OTDR with enough dynamic range to enable testing from the customer premises to the central office in one measurement to fully check the route to the customer.
 
The expandable platform of MP1800A Signal Quality Analyzer series now offers signal generation/analysis up to 56Gbps, to support developments of next generation 40G/100G design solutions. Engineered for both cost-conscious manufacturing
and advanced R&D, the MP1800 series can grow and expand unlike any other solution on the market. Unique options range from inexpensive integrated optics to large parallel configurations with new MUX/DEMUX modules that provide the design solution for 10G/20G/40G/100G applications.
 
The MP1590 Network Performance Analyzer testing capabilities are expanded to support and speed up testing for ROADMs networks, utilizing the new multichannel test function that enables simultaneous performance analysis on more than 5000 sub-channels inside the SDH/SONET hierarchy. Two new plug-in cards are now available for the SDH/SONET/OTN/Ethernet

Analyzer with new OTU1e and OTU2e interfaces to enable analysis of transmission quality for Carrier Ethernet links. These new cards enhance the Next Generation 10GbE over OTN, and Multichannel Test Capability for SDH/SONET Networks. This
makes it a perfect solution for 10GE PON testing and network load tests.

The MP1595 40/43Gb Network Performance Analyzer now includes integrated tunable optical interfaces for ODB and DPSK  Modulated Signal Generation and Analysis that are key for deployment of next generation 40G networks. Now Anritsu’s
MP1595 40/43Gb SDH/SONET/OTN Analyzer allows testing of network equipment at any DWDM wavelength in the ITU-T C-Band grid with 50GHz spacing, thanks to modulated and tunable signal generation.

Anritsu continues to expand the Network Master multipurpose handheld testers family, designed to provide every field engineer with his own testing device and the capability to easily reconfigure it for different applications by simply replacing the functional module. A new Network Master module for 10/100/1000Mbps Ethernet performance analysis of access networks is now available, offering quick and easy to use tools for field engineers to characterize Ethernet links. VLan Tagging, Multistream Generation/Analysis, Automatic RFC2544 Test, Through Mode and Reflector Mode, Ping Function and BER Test are just some of the multiple functions available in this extremely compact handheld rugged instrument.

Anritsu improves its line-up of high performance OTDRs with the introduction of the MT9083C. The new MT9083C Access Master offers high dynamic range and at the same time extremely high accuracy, thus representing the ideal solution for testing of long distance fiber links. In addition, its capabilities allow characterization, installation and maintenance of long  and complex PON networks. When high loss splitters architectures might affect correct measurements from Central Office till the end of the fiber, MT9083C is the unique measurement solution.
