LTE modul til M2M-applikationer
Quectel’s nye 4G LTE modul, EC20, komplementerer eksisterende 2G, 3G og GNSS løsninger i M2M-applikationer med behov for de højeste datahastigheder (in english).
Atlantik Elektronik presents their first LTE module with Quectel’s EC20. The module especially addresses applications as security (video surveillance), mHealth (mobile health), POS (Point-of-Sales) as well as network routers.The EC20 is a CAT3 product and supports a download rate of 100Mbit/s. It can transmit at 50Mbit/s.
The LCC package guarantees as already by the partly pin-compatible UMTS and GSM modules easy manufacturing and optimal control during the production. Moreover, the EC20 is form factor compatible with Quectel´s successful UMTS module UC20. Therefore a smooth migration path from 3G to 4G technology is guaranteed
The EC20 LTE uses the MIMO technology, in order to transmit multiple data streams on various transmitters to the particular base station. In this way, data speed and errors can be optimized.
This new LTE-Module from Quectel is suitable for a particular wide field of applications. Due to its wide temperature specification from -40° C to + 85°C for outdoor M2M solutions, it can be used for applications such video -, point of sale-, up to mobile health care and eCall devices.
