Rutronik kan nu levere Insight SIP's nye dual-core Bluetooth 5.2 modul, ISP2053, der leveres i en kompakt LGA formfaktor med dimensioner på kun 8 mm x 8 mm x 1 mm (in english).
The new ISP2053 Dual-Core Bluetooth 5.2 module from Insight SiP complements the Rutronik Wireless portfolio. Measuring just 8 mm x 8 mm x 1 mm, the particularly small LGA module builds on the nRF5340 chip from Nordic Semiconductor and features powerful dual-core Cortex-M33 CPUs, as well as flash and RAM memory.
Combined with, among other things, an enhanced antenna, RF matching circuit as well as 32 MHz and 32.768 kHz crystals, the module is the ideal solution for medical, industrial or other complex IoT applications. The ISP series supports several protocols such as Bluetooth LE, Bluetooth Mesh, Thread, ZigBee ANT, NFC and is available at www.rutronik24.com.
Despite its small form factor, the module also has integrated decoupling capacitors, load capacitors, and DC-DC converters. A variety of digital and analog IOs, system peripherals, high-speed SPI, QSPI, USB, and reliable functionality at an operating temperature of -40 °C up to 105 °C complete the product.
Combined with the long-range at a high data throughput of 2 Mb / s, it allows maximum flexibility in sensor integration and audio as well as advanced IoT applications. With the ISP2053, Insight SiP currently offers the most advanced fully certified 2.4 GHz LE module series on the market.
Tools for short development times
In addition, development tools specially tailored to the ISP2053 are available, with complete hardware solutions for prototyping, testing, and programming. For this purpose, Insight SiP offers dedicated test boards with complete hardware and software environment, which also include test points for IOs as a stand-alone solution and can be combined with Nordic Development Kits as well as external J-Link programs.
The ISP2053 software platform is compatible with Nordic Semiconductor's nRF Connect SDK. That provides a complete solution integrating the Zephyr RTOS, protocol stacks, application examples, and hardware drivers.
The evaluation board ISP2053-AX-EB is suitable for first tests and prototyping around the ISP2053 module. It contains an interface board with an integrated J-Link OB JTAG/SWD emulator, the test board (ISP2053-AX-TB), and connection cables.
