Molex og profichip i samarbejde om PROFINET teknologier
Molex og det tyske ASIC-udviklingshus profichip GmBH indgår strategisk samarbejde med fokus på udvikling af PROFINET teknologier (in english).
Molex software development kits (SDK) are used by many PLC manufacturers and device makers for PROFINET connectivity where maximum throughput and efficiency are key requirements. The Molex offer includes PROFINET IO-Controller and IO-Device SDK based on ANSI 'C 'source code.
Profichip located in Herzogenaurach, Germany, design ASICs - including high-performance PLC processors, but also offers further electronic components for communication, such as Ethernet TCP/IP, Profibus-DP, MPI as well as a serial and parallel bus structure products.
Together, Molex and profichip will design, promote and provide dedicated solutions to provide PROFINET Isochronous Real Time (IRT) capability for manufacturers looking to implement automation devices such as controllers, remote I/O, drives and field instruments.
Molex and profichip have more than 20 years of expertise respectively in the development of industrial communication solutions. Both companies are actively involved in industrial trade organisations, such as PROFIBUS/PROFINET International (PI) and envisage that the cooperation will directly increase their abilities to provide best-in-class solutions to worldwide customers.
Molex manufactures and supplies a range of connectivity, power and communication products designed for a variety of protocols.
