Mouser Electronics udvider firmaets efterhånden brede vifte af teknologi- og applikationsites med to nye, der fokuserer på henholdsvis MESM og broadcast løsninger (in english).

Mouser Electronics, Inc. has launched a new site focused on broadcast applications. This new featured applications site http://www.mouser.com/applications/broadcast provides designers with the latest resources, articles, featured products, and technical resources to assist in creating innovative new broadcast designs.
      
The site provides an extensive range of resources to assist in system design, from detailed block diagrams and product lists for multi-format transcoder, broadcast platform, and video conferencing applications.

Visitors to the site can learn more about the latest products for broadcast designs, including Altera Cyclone V FPGAs, Texas Instruments’ DM37x DaVinci Video Processors, and more.

A featured article by Mouser Electronics addresses important considerations when designing power distribution systems for broadcasting and other noise-sensitive applications. Also featured on Mouser’s Broadcast Applications site are white papers and application notes from leading semiconductor manufacturers Altera, Maxim Integrated, and Cypress Semiconductor. 

New MEMS technology site

Mouser Electronics also announces a new technology site on Mouser.com, covering Microelectromechanical Systems (MEMS) Technology. The new site http://www.mouser.com/applications/mems-technology/ is designed to help design engineers find the latest in MEMS products by application, get easy access to the latest technical resources, and speed the design process.

The new MEMS technology site is a basic introductory resource center to MEMS Technologies, including MEMS sensors, MEMS oscillators, clocks, RF, and other MEMS product areas. The site also offers industry news by manufacturer and application, as well as leading developments in MEMS technology.

Engineers can quickly navigate to find products and information based on defined parameters and design requirements. The new site can be explored by visiting MEMS (known as microsystems technology in Europe or micromachines in Japan) are a class of devices characterized both by their small size and the manner in which they are made.

These devices range in length from one millimeter down to one micron and often employ microscopic analogs of common mechanical parts and tools. MEMS parts are not machined. Instead, they are created using micro-fabrication technology similar to batch processing for integrated circuits.
