Premier Farnell plc has entered into a global distribution agreement with Segger Microcontroller to stock its industry-leading MCU development and programming tools.Used by engineers around the world, Segger’s tool suite is affordable, high quality and easy-to-use and helps reduce development time for embedded applications.
Segger’s JTAG/SWD + SWO emulators (J-Link/J-Trace Family) and production flash programmers (Flasher Family) help engineers to develop and debug code prior to production and allow manual or remote production flash programming. The tools are compatible with a wide range of manufacturer-specific processors, including, but not limited to, ARM, Cortex and Renesas cores, as well as various IDEs.

Segger's J-Link family of emulators and Flasher programming tools are available across Premier Farnell’s distribution businesses: Newark element14 in the Americas, Farnell element14 in Europe and element14 in Asia Pacific. They can also be accessed through the the Knode on the element14 engineering community, which automates the creation and assembly of embedded design flow solutions.
