Ny bog om MEMS-udvikling
Det tyske Springer-forlag udgiver ny bog med fokus på 'MEMS product Engineering' (in english).
A new book is now available from Springer-Verlag. The title 'MEMS Product Engineering' indicates the domain covered by this publication. Main author Dirk Ortloff (founder and CEO of Process Relations GmbH, Dortmund, Germany) and his co-authors from industry and academia concentrate their knowledge and their experiences in the area of development and manufacturing of micro-electro-mechanical systems (MEMS).The book provides the methodological background to directing cooperative product engineering projects in a micro and nanotechnology setting. The methodology is based on well-established methods like PRINCE2 and StageGate, which are supplemented by best practices that can be individually tailored to the actual nature and size of the project at hand.
The book is intended for everyone who takes an active role in either practical product engineering or in teaching it. This includes project and product management staff and program management offices in companies working on innovation projects, those active in innovation, as well as professors and students in engineering and management. The book is featured by the foreword of Karen Lightman, Managing Director of the MEMS Industry
