Toppan Display Solutions, manufacturer of industrial TFT displays sold under the ORTUSTECH brand, has announced the discontinuation of its LCD display production. As a result, ensuring the long-term availability of existing display platforms is becoming an increasingly important consideration for manufacturers of industrial systems.
As a long-standing distribution partner of Toppan Display Solutions, DATA MODUL is supporting its global customers throughout this transition as a trusted and experienced technology partner. Drawing on its close relationship with the manufacturer and deep expertise across the product portfolio, the Munich-based display specialist supports customers in evaluating existing designs and identifying suitable replacement solutions.

DATA MODUL follows a manufacturer-independent approach when supporting customers through this transition. Based on individual project requirements, the company's engineering and product specialists guide customers through the selection of qualified alternatives, necessary design modifications and the implementation of long-term lifecycle management strategies.
As part of the migration process, DATA MODUL supports customers in evaluating qualified replacement solutions. The goal is to identify suitable 1:1 or drop-in alternatives for selected display sizes wherever technically feasible. To this end, DATA MODUL evaluates displays from Giantplus, as well as other manufacturer-independent alternatives, based on the specific requirements of each application.
In addition, a range of measures is available to help secure existing platforms, including last-time buy programmes, professional long-term storage services and the technical qualification of alternative display solutions.
