Rutronik med ny LED-leverandør
Rutronik har indgået pan-europæisk franchise-aftale med amerikanske Intematix, der tilbyder LED moduler og komponenter (in english).
Rutronik Elektronische Bauelemente GmbH has entered into a pan-European franchise agreement with the USA-based LED specialist Intematix Corporation as their exclusive distribution partner in Europe. Effective immediately, Rutronik will distribute Intematix’s entire product portfolio of individual components, arrays, LED modules, control systems, secondary optics and heat sinks.
With this agreement, Rutronik extends its portfolio of optoelectronics to include the innovative and high-quality components from Intematix to serve the needs of Europe’s advanced lighting developers.
Intematix specialises in ceramic-based LEDs and modules for the lighting market and is a leading manufacturer of phosphors for LEDs. Control systems, secondary optics and
heat sinks complete the portfolio. Intematix products are characterised by excellent heat conducting properties as well as very high quality and luminous efficiency. Colour-specific solutions with products based on InGaN (indium gallium nitride) technology and Intematix’s patent-backed phosphors are also available, and may include customisation options. Rutronik will be the exclusive European distributor to sell Intematix components.
The Intematix product portfolio has been designed specifically for general lighting applications, complementing Rutronik’s wide range of optoelectronic components. With Intematix LED solutions, Rutronik targets areas such as LED-based solid state lighting, interior and exterior lighting, architectural and window lighting, spotlights, airfield and
marine lighting as well as design and advertising lighting applications.
Additionally, Rutronik will continue to pursue its in-house development and
marketing of LED street lighting in co-operation with Intematix. As a pioneer in this area, Rutronik has already installed a successful LED street lighting system in Remchingen (Germany).
