Rutronik og OSRAM udvider samarbejdet

Rutronik udvider distributionsaftale med OSRAM Opto Semiconductors til bl.a. også at omfatte Danmark (in english).

Rutronik Elektronische Bauelemente GmbH and OSRAM Opto Semiconductors GmbH are extending their partnership to include the United Kingdom, Ireland, Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden.

Rutronik will distribute the entire OSRAM Opto portfolio of semiconductors throughout all of Europe. The two companies have worked together successfully for many years: Rutronik has taken first or second place in distributor rankings with the LED manufacturer in all previous franchise countries. The product range includes design-in products such as OSLON and Golden Dragon LEDs as well as a complete range of widths for optoelectronic components.

The two partners will concentrate on industrial applications in the new franchise countries: variable message signs, white goods, vending machines, transportation, display backlighting, medical applications and projection. In the infra-red product range, the focus is on ANPR (Automatic Number Plate Recognition) applications, CCTV (Closed Circuit Television), light curtains, ambient light sensors and optical switches.

The Rutronik Development Centre for Power and Lighting together with Product Marketing, guarantees extensive application support to regional FAEs and Business Development Managers. Thanks to its wide portfolio, Rutronik is able to compile individual kits with components precisely coordinated with each other, including actuation, and passive and electromechanical components.

In addition to technical support, Rutronik also offers commercial support for marketing developed products and individual logistics concepts. The know-how transfer also plays a big role for Rutronik. Thus the broadliner, together with OSRAM Opto Semiconductors and other leading manufacturers, has presented innovative products and applications with a series of seminars throughout Europe entitled 'Lighting Solutions'.
