LCD moduler til E-paper applikationer
Winstar lancerer nu en ny generation af displays, der sigter mod brug 'Electronic Paper' applikationer (in english).
Electronic Paper (E-paper) is a display technology designed to mimic the appearance of ordinary ink on paper. Unlike a conventional flat panel display, which uses a backlight to illuminate its pixels, electronic paper reflects light like ordinary paper and is capable of holding text and images indefinitely without drawing electricity, while allowing the image to be changed later.
E-paper displays can operate at temperatures from 0° to +50°C; with storage temperatures ranging from -35° to +60°C. Customer specific version are available on request.
Winstar's new E-paper modules are available in three standard versions each with a built-in driver IC. Each character on the display features 16 segments. The three standard version are:
• 1 line with 6 characters
• 1 line with 10 characters
• 2 lines with 10 characters per line
