Første demonstration af videostreaming på en TD-LTE tablet
ST-Ericsson demonstrerer videoapplikationer på en TD-LTE tablet i forbindelse med afslutningsceremonien på Expo 2010 (in english)
ST-Ericsson enabled a showcase of advanced multimedia applications, including video streaming and web-browsing for the first time on a slim tablet over a TD-LTE network, in a high profile demonstration at the closing ceremony of Expo 2010 Shanghai China. The TD-LTE tablet was designed and manufactured by Quanta Computer, the world's largest manufacturer for notebook computers.
This demonstration highlights the collaboration between ST-Ericsson and Quanta Computer on LTE modules and USB dongles. ST-Ericsson's LTE modems will be integrated into Quanta Computer's next generation's connected devices such as tablets, notebooks and laptops, enabling mobile subscribers to download data at speeds of up to 100 Mbps and upload data at speeds of up to 50 Mbps over both TD-LTE and LTE FDD networks.
