Svensk-baseret PCB-leverandør køber amerikansk kollega
NCAB Group med hovedsæde i Sverige har købt amerikanske P. D. Circuits, Inc, (in english).
NCAB Group has finalized the acquisition of P. D. Circuits, Inc,, the largest company in the US with a similar concept.
According to NCAB Group the acquisition makes the NCAB Group the largest outsourcing supplier of PCBs in the world, with an annual turnover of over 80 million Euro, a presence in 13 countries and 210 employees, of whom 70 are in China.
The NCAB Group’s American company is headquartered in New Hampshire on the US east coast, close to an area near Boston in neighbouring Massachusetts, which has for some time been the base for a cluster of electronics companies. P.D Circuits is well established across North America and NCAB is focused on rapid expansion.
- I am incredibly pleased with this major step in NCAB’s development. The American market for PCBs is larger than all of Europe, so there’s a major potential for growth here. Our sights are set on having the US account for half of our turnover within five years, explains NCAB Group CEO Hans Ståhl.
- P.D Circuits has always focused on growth. The acquisition will facilitate this work, since we now have access to the resources and purchasing power of a company that is five times larger than us. This will be a huge advantage for our customers, because we can further reduce their costs, says David Wolff, former President of P. D. Circuits, who will now be head of NCAB Group USA.
Highly competent teams in China
The two companies that have now become one share very similar concepts. On behalf of their customers, they assume total responsibility for the PCB supply chain without actually owning any factories. They both secure the high quality of their supplies through a supremely focused and competent Chinese-based team. Everything they do builds on a clear customer focus, which enables them to attain excellent results.
