Delta/sigma A/D-konverter sætter hastighedsrekord
Texas Instruments introducerer en 24-bit delta-sigma A/D-konverterer, der kan håndtere op til 4 MSPS (in english).
Texas Instruments has a 24-bit delta-sigma analog-to-digital converter (ADC), which delivers speeds of up to four mega samples per second (MSPS), which according to TI is 60 percent faster than the nearest competition,.
The ADS1675 features a unique combination of wide bandwidth, outstanding ac and dc performance, and a dual-path digital filter to give greater flexibility to designers of automated test equipment, medical imaging, scientific instrumentation, and test and measurement. The low latency filter path provides 24-bit settling as fast as 2.65 ?s, thereby lending itself to fast multiplexed applications.
The ADS1675 is available now in a TQFP-64 package starting at $17.95 each in 1,000-piece quantities (suggested resale pricing). Evaluation modules (EVM) for this device will be available in Q2 2009.
