Det 'ny' RECAB gør status

Siden det 'ny' RECAB blev etableret den 1. september er der sket rigtigt meget.

The birth of 'A new RECAB' was announced September 1, 2008: A new group of owners joined the company and immediately opened offices in Denmark and Norway as well as reorganized the Swedish operation.

Following this, the organization has expanded. The former MD of VSYSTEM B-O Larsson joined the team just to mention one. A lot of work was put into place for having the ideal organization for fast acceleration and the right cost effectiveness, the 'new RECAB' writes in a pressrelease. The reformation of RECAB included also having a product portfolio from world leading suppliers as well as creating the service levels that target customers value.

Quality systems have been put in place, Logistics improved and System Integration services have been expanded. Furthermore the cooperation with the leading consulting and development companies has been formalized.

- We focus on being the Team Player with both our customers and our suppliers, says Mads Poulsen CEO of RECAB.
- Team Player means that we always form our service offering to our customer needs and show a maximum of flexibility in terms of product supply and customization of Standard Commercial Off the Shelf Products as we have called and trademarked 'Custom of the Shelf', he continues.

- The suppliers are very important key players in our Team, and we carefully selected our suppliers who can provide best in class products and service - RECAB are very committed to never to compete with our customers and our suppliers, says Poulsen.

The new RECAB was started intentionally in the beginning of the financial crisis and the company now see that the timing in many ways have been ideal. RECAB has very little overhead and is totally dedicated to delivering COTS – Custom Off The Shelf  and can therefore be very competitive in a time when the customers is looking to reduce development costs, and speed up time to market.

The result so far in the 'new' RECAB shows that the concept works and that even in a downturn economy there are success stories to be found.

Manager of RECAB Denmark is Brian Sørensen and since the opening of the Danish facility, a partnership with CB Svendsen as been formed, offering Danish customers
the manufacturing, integration, development and test services that CB Svendsen are
well known for.

- We have within this relatively short timeframe signed a number of important strategic
contracts with large international customers, which gives RECAB an extra positive view on the future growth. Even more important is that these large customers are spread over several industry segments such as Defence/Military, Telecom, Public Infrastructure, Transportation and Industrial Automation, states Michael Ullskog, Sales Director.

- We are now looking at further expanding the current activities in Norway as well as Finland as a result of the successes we have seen in the initial short timeframe. Like in the other Nordic countries we will be expanding by hiring only highly experienced people in order to serve our customers with the degree of professionalism that they request as well as cooperation with partners in the Embedded marketplace. We are well under way and stay very focused on continue building a profitable growth with a revenue target in the Nordic Countries on 25M Euro by 2013, says Mads Poulsen
