element14, an Avnet Community, has announced two upcoming webinars this January, designed to empower engineers and professionals with insights into cutting-edge technologies like DC-DC converters and MEMS (Micro Electromechanical Systems) sensors.

The first 'Isolated DC-DC Converters for the Design Engineer with Bourns' is held Tuesday, 14 January 2025 at 2:00 PM – 3:00 PM GMT / 8:00 AM – 9:00 AM CST)

Cathal Sheehan, Technical Marketing Manager at Bourns will give an in-depth exploration of isolated DC-DC converters. This webinar is tailored for design engineers looking to optimise their designs for performance, safety, and compliance.

Key topics include:

- An introduction to isolated DC-DC converters

- The importance of galvanic isolation for safety and noise immunity
