Modul understøtter GPS og GLONASS simultant
GNS er klar med modul baseret på den nye MediaTek MT3333 GNSS chip, der understøtter såvel GPS og GLONASS (in english).
The GNS1301 module from GNS utilizes the new generation MediaTek MT3333 GNSS chip that supports GPS and GLONASS simultaneously. Upgrading firmware, GNSS sytstems like GALILEO can be supported. Choosing the preferred GNSS system, GPS+GLONASS or GPS+GALILEO GNSS signals can be handled.
Due to its capability to use GLONASS and GPS at the same time, GNS1301 benefits from the higher availability of satellites in critical environments. The navigation performance and accuracy is further improved by using the correction data from SBAS, QZSS or DGPS. First Fixes after just a few seconds are achieved with the help of A-GPS using EPO and the EASY 'self generated orbit prediction' algorithm.
Very low power requirements (typ 90mW@ 3.3V) and internal voltage regulator makes it easy to run the GNS1301 with various power supplies and allows direct connection to Li-Ion batteries. The new AlwaysLocate power management adaptively adjusts power consumption depending on the environment and motion conditions, in order to achieve a balance between fix rate, power consumption and position accuracy.
Applications include personal navigation devices, in-vehicle navigation equipment, precision timing via GPS, camera equipment, geofencing, netbooks, tablet PCs and mobile phones.
A starterkit is available for easy development with the GNS1301.
